Employee Wellness Programs
For RVA skilled trade businesses who desire success by creating a positive work environment, retaining and attracting loyal workers, and increasing productivity to complete projects efficiently and increase revenue.
Build the Foundation: a Healthy Workplace
According to the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in private industry there were an average of 3.3 injuries per 100 employees in 2019.
In sectors with greater manual labor requirements, like residential building construction, plumbing, heating & air, foundation, framing, roofing, dry wall & insulation, and wood/metal/cement manufacturing, these rates are higher.
25% of companies in these trades reported 5-10 or more injuries per 100 workers per year. Additionally, smaller businesses (< 50 employees) sometimes reported higher injury incidence than larger businesses.
And these are only the reported injuries – how many times do team members experience pains that go unreported, and they work through them? Whether you are a small or medium-sized business - implementing the Employee Wellness Program is crucial to begin to build the foundation for a safe and healthy workplace.
